Thigh and Leg Liposculpture

Are you tired of thunder thighs?
Want to look good in a bathing suit and not be embarrassed to wear shorts?

If you answered yes to any or all of the above, then you should consider AdvanceLipo. No matter how much exercise you do or how closely you watch your diet, most women are simply genetically predisposed to accumulate fat in the thighs and the rest of your leg.

Thigh and leg liposculpture is specifically designed for women who want to get rid of flabby thighs, saddlebags, rubbing inner thighs, plump knees, or large calves. You can choose to live with the genetic hand that was dealt to you, or you can treat the problem permanently with AdvanceLipo. The quick and easy procedure will remove fat and tighten the skin, giving you smaller, smoother and younger looking legs. So why wait, many people can return to work the following day with not only better thighs, but a renewed outlook on life and improved self image.

What are the benefits of Liposculpture on my Thighs?

If you are unhappy with the shape of your thighs or legs, our staff can help. Thinner, smoother, and younger looking thighs are the typical benefits our patients see after our AdvanceLipo treatment. For some women, it is difficult to exercise or even walk because of inner thigh chaffing. Inner thigh liposculpture can help. For other women, shopping for jeans is a pain because saddlebags on the outer thigh makes proper sizing nearly impossible. Outer thigh liposculpture can help. For women who have very large thighs, sometimes referred to as ‘thunder thighs’, a full thigh AdvanceLipo treatment is probably appropriate. This treatment can permanently remove several inches of fat from the thigh. While not every patient responds the same, many of our patients have noticed significant decreases in cellulite. Everyone responds differently and while you may never have perfect legs like a model, AdvanceLipo can drastically improve your appearance.

What areas of the thigh can be treated?

The inner and outer thigh can be treated individually or in tandem with one another. Most patients decide to combine the two areas in a single treatment. For women with larger thighs, a full thigh procedure is appropriate to permanently remove the maximum amount of fat. Knees, calves, and ankles can also be treated to ensure the best overall appearance of the leg.

What is the procedure like for thigh liposculpture?

What is the procedure like for thigh liposculpture?

  • Patients are first analyzed in detail for the best possible results.
  • After the analysis, patients are diagramed using a marker so that the doctor can custom shape your legs in the most ideal fashion.
  • Patients are then given lidocaine to numb the skin. There is no general anesthesia or IV sedation required. Our patients will walk out of the operation just as they walked in. You can chat with the doctor or assistants during the procedure or simply relax and listen to music, it is your choice.
  • During the process he will use small puncture holes and small tube called a cannula, which is just a little bigger than the size of a ball point pen tip, in the areas selected for treatment. A solution is pushed into the fat to help break it up, numb and prepare fat cells for removal.
  • After the local numbing takes place, our staff will typically use a combination of power assisted liposuction, laser assisted lipolysis, and/or ultrasound assisted lipolysis with the ultra small suction cannulas to produce not only the best results, but the quickest recovery time possible.

What results can I expect?

No one can promise that you will have the thighs of your dreams after out AdvanceLipo procedure; however you can be assured that the majority of fat in your thighs will be removed and your appearance improved. Not only will the fat be removed permanently, you will immediately see results. Many patients will notice the difference starting right away but it may take 6 weeks or more until you will want to show off your beautiful new legs.

Will I need skin tightening?

Skin tightening depends on how well your body produces collagen fibers, for most patients this results in natural tightening. Using our AdvanceLipo technique, your skin will be tightened with a special laser, ultrasound, or power assisted liposuction during the procedure. Results will vary patient to patient and depend on many factors such as age, past weight loss, and skin laxativity. If you are interested in additional tightening, please bring it to our attention during your consultation.

How do I care for my thighs after the procedure?

After the procedure you will wear a compression garment that will assist in the absorption of fluid that may leak from the small holes used to remove the fat during the procedure. Small pads will sit between the garment and your skin to absorb the fluid for the 2-4 days following the procedure. Most patients will wear the garment for about a week. In some cases our patients might feel more comfortable wearing the garment after this period for exercising. At our facility we notice swelling typically lasts for a few days. No stitches are required after the procedure; the small holes will heal quickly on their own.

It’s a good idea not to shower for about 24 hours after the procedure and full immersion such as swimming or sitting in a hot tub should be avoided for about a week.

How long does it take to heal?

Age, health, and scope of the procedure are all determining factors in the recovery. The first compression garment is typically worn for about a week and bruising and soreness is usually gone in about 2-4 weeks. A secondary garment is worn for about 2-4 weeks following the procedure. Within 4-6 weeks nearly all patients report all symptoms are gone, that the thighs are no longer swollen, bruised or puffy, and that both thighs look smooth and feel the same. Most of our patients feel comfortable and excited about wearing shorts or skirts about a month after the liposculpture procedure.

When can I go back to work?

Some of our patients return to work immediately following the procedure or simply take the rest of the day off and return the following day. However, most patients typically take about 2 days off before returning to work. If your work requires the use of your legs such as for sports training, it may take a couple of days before you feel comfortable enough to return to work.

Can I combine thigh liposculpture with other procedures?

Of course! Plus, our simple and affordable pricing structure means that additional areas cost less.

Many patients combine thigh liposculpture with the hips, love handle, or abdominal liposculpture. Whatever areas you choose, it is recommended to treat as many areas as safe in one procedure. However, there is a limit on how many procedures can be done in one treatment. Only a consultation with our qualified staff will let you know for sure.
